Bio: Burt is a versatile technology consultant that has provided business solutions for over 25 years. His consultative approach to implementing, maintaining and optimizing technology has reduced costs, improved productivity and profitability for companies, and he has produced custom solutions for companies such as Time Inc, Qualcommm, and Sony. He provided IT Management and produced Sarbanes-Oxley policies for Earth Products, a division of K2, Inc, during their years of rapid growth. He has also worked independently as an analyst, designer, trainer, database administrator, systems administrator, and programmer, and he has supported various industries including retail, manufacturing, marketing, publishing, action sports, biotech research, insurance, internal medicine, medical billing, and real estate. Burt is currently managing web and mobile technology projects while mentoring programming students. He is active with several volunteer organizations, and enjoys public speaking.
