In this presentation, I'll attempt to cover Solr from the ground up with a bent towards developers. I'll cover the basics for those unfamiliar with Solr (and the Apachesolr module), walk through basic installation, review working examples of Solr in action, and then delve into code.
My goal in this presentation will be twofold:
Introduce Solr to those that are unfamiliar with it
Provide information so that developers familiar with the Solr technology can customize it to their needs.
