Website development projects often start with great expectation and excitement, but can sometimes end up producing less than perfect results. Clients faced with budget constraints and/or complex requirements, but with little or no experience in web development, often find themselves mystified during the development process and/or confused by their finished project. The answers can typically be found with both the client and the web development company. By asking the question: "Where is your organization going?" and by discussing the role a website plays in these plans, Discovery will help your clients identify a stronger online strategy, some mission-critical features, and hopefully deliver a much better product at launch. At this session, Jennifer Hols from ImageX Media will discuss how to use a Discovery process to: * Collect key information about a project * Understand the client's business objectives * Establish a set of goals that the website should accomplish * Understand the drivers behind technical specifications & requested features * Prioritize and discuss expectations * Discuss, define and refine complex requirements * Help ensure that the budget is invested wisely
