With many of the newer Drupal hosting solutions we now find a super-site system of some sort; Drush, Aegir, Pantheon, Gardens, etc.
Site Administration by a Drupal enabled super-site make transition from Drupal Administrator to Drupal Multi-Host Administrator or even Drupal Multi-Domain Multi-Host Administrator much easier. With more examples of this type expected during next year, we thought we'd make even easier!
TZO began experimenting with Drupal during the lifecycle of D5, and as D6 begins it's bow, we are releasing this series of contrib modules as the start of a broader release in both D6 and D7 through the coming year.
DNS, Headers, Ping, Traceroute and Whois are five networking assistance tools based in part on work you've seen elsewhere and designed with the network or site administrator in mind. Built in the form of D6 modules and using PEAR libraries for their networking components, these tools are Drupal-easy to add to a site.
For an installation walkthru and development breakdown if time permits this session will introduce them one by one and demonstrate uses in your sites or the sites of your clients.
What a great session. Thanks for bringing a whole new conversation to our San Diego gorup! Look forward to meeting you -- we are having a D7 release party on Friday, hope you can make it.
Susan
